On Thursday, Feb. 6, former Boaz High School standout Emmorie Burke’s current college team, the UAB Blazers, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.
The game took place at Jaguar Field. This was their first matchup against the Jaguars this season.
The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. at Samford Softball Field against Samford Bulldogs.
