On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Douglas High School standout MacKinley Portillo’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Toyota Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. at UWG Softball Field against West Georgia Wolves.
