Madison Wright, former Douglas High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

West Alabama Tigers Coach Stephanie Defeo (2024) | West Alabama Tigers

Former Douglas High School player and current West Alabama Tigers first baseman, Madison Wright, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the second seeded Mississippi Choctaws.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
