22.2% of households in Paint Rock received food stamps in 2020

Paint Rock ranked 152nd in Alabama for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 16 Paint Rock households (22.2 percent) who received food stamps. Paint Rock's population was 171 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Movico, which had 37 of 54 households receiving food stamps, 46.3 percent more than Paint Rock. In 2020 the population of Movico was 166.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Mountain Brook, which had 18 of 7,538 households receiving food stamps, 22 percent less than Paint Rock. In 2020 the population of Mountain Brook was 20,178.
