Senior Reminders for Class of 2022

All dates at the beginning are DEADLINES and Event Dates

  • ASAP- In order to receive a DIPLOMA at graduation, all class fees must be paid. Please see Mrs. Hazel in the front office.
  • ASAP-Mrs. Owens needs for you to pay and/or  pick up your cap and gowns if you have not done so already. The cost is $80. Class of 2022 checklist
  • ASAP- According to the state of Alabama, in order to receive a Diploma a student MUST complete a FAFSA or a Non Participation Waiver by Tuesday, May 2nd.  
  • ASAP  If you are interested in speaking and presenting at class night, please see Mrs Byrd 1st period in room 111 or email her at jbyrd@fpcsk12.com 
  • Monday, April 11th  Complete your Senior Commitment Form on Google Classroom under the Classwork tab. You  may edit this if your information changes. This is the way we know valuable information about you! If you want to be recognized at Awards night, this is a MUST! Please report anything you have been offered AND in the separate question, what you plan to ACCEPT.   • Monday, April 11th Mr. Black still needs Google slides. This is for your senior video...... the link to turn in your slide is on the senior Google Classroom.  https://forms.gle/PQ4icX5GpAE4oPqC6
  • Wednesday, April 13 Your senior activity list for the yearbook is due. Check your senior Google classroom, Class of 2022 Schoology group, or your email for the link to submit your list. https://forms.gle/v8WDt69jJmos9gJn6
  • Monday, April 18 Anyone interested in singing for graduation or class night must submit an audition video by 3:30 pm to Mrs. Goggans @ jgoggans@fpcsk12.org.
  • Wednesday, May 4th at 9:30 a.m in the stadium Class Cap and Gown Picture.  Come dressed in your cap and gown for this picture.  Be careful not to lose your tassel on this day! Do not wait until May 4th to pick up and pay for your cap and gown.
  • Wednesday, May 4th Outstanding Seniors Pictures will also be taken  after the group cap and gown photograph. Please dress appropriately for your picture (“Sunday Best” recommended Dress Code applies).
  • Monday, May 9 at 8:00 a.m. in the gym SLOW MOTION PEP RALLY DRESS REHEARSAL. Be dressed and ready to go with your group. 
  • Tuesday, May 10 in the gym at 6:00 p.m.  AWARDS NIGHT  To know whether you should  attend, there will be a one sheet paper with highlighted names posted outside the guidance office (Mrs. Varnadore’s door). If you see your name highlighted, you will know that you will need to attend awards night. Please come check to see if your name should be highlighted! Dress code: business casual. Ladies must wear a dress or dress pants and nice tops that meet school dress code. Gentlemen should be wearing dress pants and collared shirts. Ladies, you will be walking across the gym floor to be recognized, so please consider this when choosing your shoes for this event. Please see Mrs. Varnadore if you need proper attire. All parents/families may attend this event
  • Wednesday, May 11 National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society,  Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society Inductions, and Junior Marshal Recognition will be at 10:00 a.m.  in the gym.  Pictures will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the gym, and line-up will be afterwards. Please see Mrs. Pair about lineup information. Practice for this event will be during school on Tuesday, May 10th.  If you have not yet bought your stole, you can see Mrs. Pair. Dress code: Business Casual.  Ladies must wear a dress or dress pants and nice tops that meet school dress code. Gentlemen should be wearing dress pants and collared shirts. All parents/families may attend this event.
  • Thursday, May 12th.Mrs. Everett needs a copy of the Salutatorian and Valedictorian speech to put in the graduation script. 
  • Friday, May 13 Go to the TRANSCRIPT REQUEST tab in Google Classroom to follow instructions on how to get your FINAL transcript sent through Parchment. Please do this the last week you are here at school or the week of graduation. Even if you have been accepted, colleges need your FINAL transcript. If you took dual enrollment courses at Northeast, you will need to order a transcript to be sent to Northeast as well, so that they will release your college transcript from there to your intended University.   • Monday, May 16th SLOW MOTION PEP RALLY  at 8:30 a.m. in the gym. Families and friends may attend. 
  • Tuesday, May 17th SENIOR WALK at 8:15 a.m. at Wills Valley Elementary. Come to Wills Valley dressed in your cap and gown and ready at 8:00 a.m. as the walk through the halls of Wills Valley will begin promptly at 8:15. Park in the parking lot on the side of the cafeteria.
  • Tuesday, May 17 CLASS NIGHT at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.. Dress Code: Dress Nicely/Business Casual. Must meet school dress code. Practice will be that morning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the gym.
  • Wednesday, May 18th Graduation Practice at 9:00 a.m. at the stadium.  Mandatory.
  • Thursday, May 19th Graduation at 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 20th on Go Fan If you want to purchase a Senior Video, you can do so by going to Go Fan.

    • Did you email Mrs. Freeman a casual picture for the yearbook? lfreeman@fpcsk12.com
