Census Bureau: More women than men in Arab city in 2019

Of the 8,293 people living in Arab city in 2019, 52.3 percent (4,338) were women and 47.7 percent (3,955) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Alabama News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 2,399-to-2,236. In the 65 and over age range, there were 983 females and 692 males.
