Census Bureau: More women than men in Marshall County in 2019

Of the 95,643 people living in Marshall County in 2019, 50.6 percent (48,413) were women and 49.4 percent (47,230) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Alabama News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 27,929-to-27,734. In the 65 and over age range, there were 9,112 females and 6,981 males.
