Census Bureau: More men than women in Powell town in 2019

Of the 1,261 people living in Powell town in 2019, 44.6 percent (563) were women and 55.4 percent (698) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Alabama News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 482-to-346. In the 65 and over age range, there were 106 females and 80 males.
