City of Rainsville issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
It has been brought to our attention that there is someone soliciting absentees for the upcoming Municipal Election and saying that they are representing the City of Rainsville. There would be nobody that is employed with the City that would be soliciting absentees. Please call City Hall at 256-638-6331 if you should encounter someone claiming that they are representing the City regarding absentees.
