On Saturday, April 12, former Guntersville High School standout Brittany Slaten’s current college team, the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.

The game took place at Charger Park. This was their third matchup against the Choctaws this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 4:50 p.m. at Choccolocco Park against Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.
