On Thursday, Feb. 6, former Guntersville High School standout Brittany Slaten’s current college team, the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tampa Spartans.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Saint Leo Lions.
