On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Boaz High School standout Emmorie Burke’s current college team, the UAB Blazers, lost 16-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Samford Bulldogs.

The game took place at Samford Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field against Belmont Bruins.
