On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Geraldine High School standout Lydia West’s current college team, the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders.

The game took place at Broussard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Muleriders this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Broussard Sports Complex against Augustana Vikings.
