On Saturday, April 12, former Geraldine High School standout Lydia West’s current college team, the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.

The game took place at Charger Park. This was their third matchup against the Choctaws this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 4:50 p.m. at Choccolocco Park against Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.
