On Friday, Feb. 7, former Geraldine High School standout Lydia West’s current college team, the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, won 9-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.
The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Toyota Field against North Georgia Nighthawks.
