On Friday, Feb. 28, former North Jackson High School standout Avery Wynne’s current college team, the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Ball State Cardinals.

The game took place at Blue Raider Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Blue Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Blue Raider Softball Field against Illinois State Redbirds.
