On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Fort Payne High School standouts Hannah Buffington and Hannah Buffington’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Florida Ospreys.

The game took place at UNF Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Ospreys this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:35 p.m. at Toyota Field against Alabama Crimson Tide.
