On Saturday, May 17, former Albertville High School standout Alex Johnson’s current collegiate team the Mississippi Choctaws won 2-12 against the Tampa Spartans in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 5 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Tampa Spartans in the tournament.

The Mississippi Choctaws’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
