On Sunday, March 16, former Douglas High School standout MacKinley Portillo’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at NM State Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 5 p.m. at Samford Softball Field against Samford Bulldogs.
