On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Boaz High School standout Emmorie Burke’s current college team, the UAB Blazers, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.

The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their first matchup against the Screaming Eagles this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field against Belmont Bruins.
